-Room For Abuse

Hey sexy peoples,

How’s everyone doing?  Again, theres not much to say really apart from the fact that we’re ready to get out and play more shows.

I really wanna get one of them filmed so that people that don’t live near Derby or Nottingham can have a taster of what to expect if we ever play in their vicinity =]

Theres not actually been much going on with the band in the last couple of days, we need to have a practice… or two and get a few ideas out there as Adam clarified in the last blog. we’re definitely going to that meeting for Surface Unsigned in a couple of weeks too, so we get to spend an hour in Jordan’s car with constant “thats what she said” jokes and other such humour (which is always fun)

I want to get some promotional band shots too, but it’s too fucking cold to stand in the middle of nowhere and try to look good for the photos =/

Well looking forward to Surface Unsigned 2010! It’s a huge Battle of the Bands in the UK. Our first gig should be in Nottingham in February 2010. We’ve got a meeting soon in Walsall which’ll hopefully shed some light on what’s actually going on with that.

We’ve got 2 new songs in the works and I’ve (Adam) got another idea milling around somewhere so we should have a decent, well practiced set in time, where we can change the songs and stuff. Wouldn’t mind doing a cover too. Katy Perry, The Vapours, The Living End or James Brown. They’re my favourites…dunno about the other guys though.

Hopefully we can get some more (better quality) recordings done over the summer too…or maybe before who knows. Gonna start looking at branching out too as opposed to playing the same venue FOUR TIMES IN A MONTH!
